Reviews
Lovely staff they were very helpful and considerate. The atmosphere is very upbeat but comfortable for people having meetings studying or even hanging out. Had one of the staff help me pick a pastry it was delicious. Thanks for making my experience wonderful and memorable.
Great upscale coffee cafe with some great views of the river. During the summer there is outdoor seating and access to the Riverwalk as well!
Both the drinks and the sandwiches we got were of very high quality and well plated. Breakfast sandwiches were some of the best I've had in a while.
Great spot if you're looking to sit and and relax for a while.
Slow and expensive. The sweet latte was good and interesting but don’t know what was worse, waiting 15-20 minutes for it or paying $7 for a cup. The second time I went, I ordered the New Orleans style iced coffee which was very good and thankfully came out in minutes as it’s just a pour over. Additional charge if you want to substitute oat milk for regular or any other kind of milk.
Probably the biggest disappointment while visiting Chicago this last time. The place is amazing! Location incredible!!!
I ordered a classic large latte. The cup size is small and that’s okay. What’s not okay is to charge 7 bucks for it and serve barely past half full and super cold. The service is very cold, it really does not feel like a coffee shop. It feels like you are inside of Apple Store and everyone is more focus in making everything work perfect than making any human effort to make you feel human, there…connected. It is food what they are serving. A social moment.
Anyways, a lot more to say, but lets stop here. I clearly will not be returning.
My recent visit to Blue Bottle Coffee in Chicago was a delightful experience that left me craving more. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming coffee shop offers a unique twist on your daily caffeine fix.
I couldn't resist trying their signature Sweet Latte, and I must say, it was a pleasant surprise. The balance of espresso's rich, bold flavors with a subtle sweetness created a harmonious blend that danced on my taste buds. The sweetness was not overpowering, allowing the coffee's natural notes to shine through, making it a perfect choice for those who prefer a touch of sweetness in their coffee.
The attention to detail in brewing and presentation was evident. The latte art on my cup added a touch of elegance to my beverage, demonstrating the barista's skill and commitment to their craft.
The minimalist and inviting ambiance of the coffee shop made it an ideal place to enjoy my latte. It's the perfect spot for a quiet moment of reflection or catching up with a friend over a cup of expertly crafted coffee.
While the Sweet Latte stole the show for me, I couldn't help but notice the intriguing selection of single-origin beans and pour-over options on the menu. It's clear that Blue Bottle Coffee takes pride in offering a diverse coffee experience beyond just the usual offerings.
In conclusion, Blue Bottle Coffee in Chicago is a must-visit for coffee aficionados and anyone seeking a unique coffee experience. Their Sweet Latte, with its perfect blend of flavors, left a lasting impression. Whether you're exploring their menu or simply enjoying the ambiance, this coffee shop is a hidden gem in the city's bustling coffee scene. I look forward to my next visit to explore more of their enticing coffee offerings
Solid matcha latte with a robust matcha flavor, though most drinks are on the more expensive side. The interior is very modern and spacious and perfect for hangouts and working.
Enjoyed a Cortado , refreshing to be asked preferences on type of bean, selected Costa Rica, for here :) and skilled art. I don’t visit this location often dispute working 4 blocks from here. It’s very modern museum like, bright and priced to match. A bit of a wait as my visit was during the Chicago Marathon, managers that actually read these reviews should be pleased to read staff is efficient and cleaning in the lulls of serving customers. Staff were pleasant , but wouldn’t say friendly. So stop in for the museum experience, the views on the river make it worth the premium-enjoy
Bright coffee spot with beautiful city and river views. Consistent flow of customers. Did not notice any outlets but nice spot to get some work done. Light music playing on the stereo. Pictured here is a double shot of espresso of their Single Origin Espresso (Peruvian). Excellent flavor. Snacks looked tasty but did not order.
